What makes Sliabh Beagh so unique?

Sliabh Beagh is an area of upland heath and blanket bog that straddles the border between counties Fermanagh, Monaghan and Tyrone. It's home to many species of rare birds - including red grouse, Eurasian golden plover and hen harrier - as well as unusual peatland flora cowberry and Sphagnum moss. As a result, Sliabh Beagh has been designated with special protection status both in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland.

What types of activities do we offer?

Sliabh Beagh Adventures offers bike hire, battle archery and target archery and other outdoor sporting activities for various groups. All activities are suitable for kids and adults alike. We also offer guided walking and cycling tours, and plan to help establish a number of official cycling routes on Sliabh Beagh.

Where can I stay in Sliabh Beagh?

Sliabh Beagh is proud to host Ireland's only community-run hotel - the Sliabh Beagh Hotel. The hotel has 14 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and bar and hosts live music most weekends. Accommodation can be booked directly through the Sliabh Beagh Hotel's website.
