Are you single and like the outdoors? Meet like-minded people on this guided hike for singles.
This event is for all eligible singles aged between 28-40 years approximately. It’s an ideal way to meet like-minded people face-to-face in a casual and relaxed environment. No one feels like they’re on a date. You can relax and enjoy yourself.
Included in the booking fee is freshly brewed coffee or tea when you return, with the chance to mingle even further after the hike is over.
This guided singles hike takes place on September 25, 2022.
What’s the Terrain Like?
The terrain is a mixture of gravel paths, forestry tracks and open blanket bog.
What to Wear?
Waterproof hiking boots are essential! We also recommend bringing a waterproof jacket and trousers, and a hat and gloves. It’s better to be prepared for all weather eventualities.
What to Bring?
You should bring a rucksack with sufficient supplies for the duration of the hike – water, snacks, sandwiches, hot drinks, etc. There will be a scheduled picnic stop during the hike. You should also pack additional clothing layers, just in case!
How it Works?
We try our best to have an even mix of genders around similar ages. On commencement of the hike, we do a short introductory session where each participant tells the group a little bit about themselves. This is a great ice-breaker and helps everyone feel more at ease in the group setting.
During the hike, we allow the group to naturally flow between each other, with the guides quietly ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and gets involved. We may introduce a game or two along the way to help people mix with others.
If you’re not comfortable exchanging numbers at the end, you can email us after the event and we’ll seek permission before sharing someone else’s number with you.

Registration takes place from 9am at our premises in Knockatallon Village (adjacent to the Sliabh Beagh Hotel). Our Eircode is H18 K407. The hike will begin at 9:30am sharp.
